Nick, you did it again

source

My secret indulgence?

Teeny-bopper anything and everything:

*Twilight - including this weird crush on a silly vampire that doesn't exist.

*Chic flicks with stereotypical and predictable plots - How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, 13 Going on 30, PS I Love You...

*Pop music and concerts - I seriously would die to see J. Timberlake or B. Spears in concert

*Trashy celebrity gossip mags or reality shows - think US Weekly, The Hills, Keeping Up with the Kardashians...

But my all-time BIGGEST teen indulgence?

Nicholas Sparks books.

They never get old.

Ever.

And I always know there is going to be a horribly predictable love story and tragic loss or ending.

But I keep coming back for more.

I've read every one of his books. My all time fave is the Notebook. And I love the movie just as much...and that NEVER happens. Ever.

My least fave? The Last Song.

But saw the movie last night, and I have to say that it was really good. I (gulp) even kinda, sorta stomached Miley a little more than I thought. But just barely.

Overall thoughts: great casting, hunky boy with lots of shirtless scenes, cute/different/trendy outfits worn by Miley, friggin adorable little brother, incredibly cheesy and vomitrocious lovey dovey scenes, obvious use of Miley's musical ability placed wherever possible throughout the movie, and necessity to bring lots of tissues!

Recommended flick? Yes!

Glad I'm not the only 20-something living as a "teenie bopper!" And I've seen Ms. Spears twice and Justin (via NSYNC) twice as well! haha But I'd go again in a heartbeat!
