Bad Habits

So, I have developed 2 really bad habits since I've begun student teaching. Ok, maybe 3.

Bad Habit #1: I have become one of those people. You know the ones. Those who join a gym after the holidays, work out a few times, and then don't go back. I keep telling myself it's because I'm not into a groove from the big move, I'm super busy learning and lesson planning, and it's just too darn cold outside. Ugh. This habit must be broken ASAP.

Bad Habit #2: I am a pop drinker again. This one makes me quite depressed. When I was in college, I used to drink at least one 32 oz. Diet Coke a DAY. It was bad. Then, I gradually slowed down the consumption of soda and last year, I finally decided to stop drinking pop altogether. Well, between moving back and the need for caffein, I started drinking it again. Grrr!!!

Bad Habit #3: The blogging has slowed way down. But I'm working on this one. I'm busy, but it's no excuse.

Does anyone else feel like they need a support group for any of 1-3 above?!?!

I used to drink 3 diet coke cans a day...it was my one vice! But then I got pregnant and my nausea gave me a huge aversion to it. It's the only thing that has helped me kick my addiction!

I have quit Diet Coke so many times that my family and friends don't believe me when I say I am! But I am currently being successful with drinking seltzer water instead!

#1 for me! I hear ya girl, it's hard to get motivated and stay away from pop and sweets. But then again, life is too short to become too obsessed with all that. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about being healthy, but everyone deserves time to veg, and a pop or cookie (or two)! :)

I love that you're calling it "pop"

seriously.

And yes, I've been a member of a gym for over a year now... and I haven't been since... OCTOBER!!!

I suck at life. :(

Good luck to you!!

Student Teaching consumes your life! For that brief period...it's all you do! I felt that way when I was student teaching too...but my addiction was to coffee, not pop.

Hope you're able to kick the habit! :) & good luck with student teaching!

Support group for 1 and 2 please. I haven't been to the gym in a long time. And it's right across from my house! So sad!

Gah, the Diet Cokes--I was doing so well, and then busy season at work started and it's been all downhill since then. Eeep!

You don't know how excited I am that you used the word soda. You truly are a New Englander. :)
