Thanks for the laughs, Sky Mall

No, seriously. Thanks.

I had somewhat of a stressful morning trying to make my way back home from a recruiting trip today. Sky Mall totally saved the day for me.

I boarded the plane and didn't have a book with me. I wasn't sleepy enough to take a nap. And I couldn't turn on my laptop yet to work.

So, I decided to glance at the Sky Mall magazine.

Now, we all know that Sky Mall has some pretty outrageous items. But do people actually buy anything from that crazy magazine?

Then, I saw it.

I desperately need a noise maker for our bedroom. I've mentioned before that I have sleep issues, and one of those issues involves needing the perfect amount of noise. There simply has to be some type of constant humming/white noise/fan running.

So, I might buy it...just not from Sky Mall. :)

Then, I ran across a whole slew of "sleep aides".

I mean, this is what I've been missing out on?

I could totally be in slumberland in no time...as long as I just purchase a few of these bad boys:

Great for a quick snooze!

Christmas gift? I think so!

This claims to improve your air flow to the throat...for all you snorers. Oh, and it matches perfectly with any comforter.

Do you travel a lot like me? No problem! Check out these sleep enhancers.

Who really needs to breathe anyway?

Fits right in your suitcase!

Thanks for the suggestions, Sky Mall.

haha, is it sad that I really like that last one? I always get freezing on airplanes, and it's hard to find a blanket that is long enough to cover your feet but small enough to travel with!

They seriously do have some of the weirdest things I've ever seen.

My favorite sky mall item is large plastic boulders designed to hide the "unsightly" things in your yard. Because have a large plastic boulder in your yard is SO much more "sightly"

I feel your pain with sleep problems. I need the perfect sound machine. My step mom has a throw like that with my baby sister's picture on it. It is a little scary. Thanks for sharing. Love the blog.

Haha! I love looking through the Sky Mall magazines on the plane just to see what crazy things they have come out with. They always advertise this piece of exercise equipment (more like a scary looking contraption) that will exercise your entire body in just 10 min and you can get the contraption for a low price of $15,000. I would love to know if someone actually ever bought it!

Granted, the blanket and pillow in a bag doesn't sound half bad.....I ALWAYS freeze on the plane!

Have you ever seen that thing in there that you can blow up and sit on the tray table in front of you? It is freaking huge! No way! And I'm sure like $200.
