Maternity Pics

Oh.my.word.

My maternity pics turned beautifully.

Thanks to the amazing Ali Moore.

And I really do owe it ALL to her.

It's so funny to really know what's going on behind the scenes in a photograph. But then you have someone like Ali, who can make one miserably hot pregnant mama appear to be perfectly, pregnantly, glowing.

Let's take a deeper look into our photo shoot.

1). I was just shy of 9 months pregnant - read: feeling rather large.

2). I had just had my first painful contraction. I mean, I've been having Braxton Hicks for months, but this one stopped me in my tracks and I couldn't talk. (Yes. I'm aware that they get much worse).

3). It was 110 degrees outside. All three of us were dripping in sweat.

4). My hair fell and de-curled the moment I opened the car door. (See # 3).

5). I changed in the middle of the path in the nature preserve. And because of all the sweat (see # 3 again), I felt like my clothes were on crooked.

6). Gabe had just woken up...like 20 minutes beforehand. He's been working 12 hour shifts at night, and he sleeps hard during the day. So he had sleepy-bear face.

7). I believe this was our 6th time to reschedule. I REALLY wanted to do pics around week 30 (so I wasn't so huge), but my poor hubby had a ton of dental issues. So we had to keep rescheduling. Therefore, 6 weeks later, my belly and face are most definitely looking pretty pregnant.

Needless to say...these bad boys couldn't have turned out any better. Sorry for the picture overload. Just love em' so much and couldn't decide on my faves!
