Weiner Wednesday

Thank the good Lord that it's Hump Day, and we only have two days to go!

Today was definitely an interesting day. I'm just happy that it's almost over (and that the weekend is almost here...)

Hump Day Happenings:
  • It started off with me desperately wanting to "sleep in" until 6:30. Well, my internal alarm clock woke me up at 5:30 instead.
  • Since I had a little extra time this morning, I decided to paint my toenails. Rather than painting my toenails, I painted my toes (and my wood floors) instead. Oops.
  • We had a cook-off at work. My team's theme was "Iron Chef" and we decorated the table with lots of kitchen utensils (just like the show) and had our copy center make an Iron Chef sign. Our main ingredient was lemons...and we called ourselves "The Elemonators". (We are totally going to beat the other team who participates tomorrow.)
  • I proceeded to then get called into my boss' office which subsequently turned into an all-out bawl fest (on my part, not his). Don't worry, I didn't get in trouble. We just had some issues we needed to sort out. Needless to say, I hate crying at work.
  • I ran 3 miles for the first time since I injured my groin back in January. Oh, and the best part is that I ran it while having a stomachache and while having to go to the bathroom.
  • Now I'm off to begin our Wednesday-Night-Cleaning Party.
Happy Weiner Wednesday!!!

Hey there, friend! I found your blog, and I absolutely LOVE it!!! Reading your posts makes me laugh so hard at times, but then it makes me sad that you had to move so far away from Texas.

I hope you and the hubby and your "kiddos" are doing well.

The weekend officially starts tomorrow now, so you're well on your way - and quite deserving apparently! Hope your team ended up winning!
