I get a bit nervous sometimes about silly things.
This is why I decided to delete my last post regarding my current "babysitting" situation.
Thanks to those of you with the incredibly helpful hints. I really appreciate it.
For those of you who missed out on my maybe-a-bit-too-detailed post...the gist is that I am catching a brief glimpse of what is to come in my teaching career (with how parents discipline their children). Let's just say I'm dealing with some difficult behavioral issues. Also, I have realized that I am so thankful to my mom who actually disciplined me and didn't let me get away with murder while I was growing up.
Moral of the story: Parents, make your children mind. And don't always give them what they want.
Thanks.

I was able to read your other post in Google Reader and I have to totally agree that some parents do not have a clue how to discipline their kids. They are not doing their kids any favors catering to their every whim!
I will not hesitate to discipline my kids! None of this "1,2,3" and then not doing anything business!
I was wondering what happened to it! I was looking forward to seeing what everyone else commented on it. It's a tough issue and I really hope things get better. What an ornery child!
amen to this sister! thanks for checking out my blog because now i have gotten the pleasure to read YOUR adorable blog! :) i am your newest follower cute girl!
I also read your other post in google reader and I think your sticker chart thing is a good idea. Also, watch up on some Super Nanny episodes cause she gives some good tips for how to displine unruly kids. Let her know that while you're in the house YOU'RE in charge. If her parents have a problem with it they'll let you know - but they might just be grateful!
anywho, I'm late on commenting on this but:
Scripelle con Gelato.
Miniature fried doughboys dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with
vanilla bean gelato and warm Nutella spread.
Seriously drooling. I want one so bad!
