California Dreamin Part 3:(Split into two days) Huntington, Hollywood, Beverly Hills,
Santa Monica, Hermosa, Malibu, Santa Barbara, Cambria

Highlights: The little local vendors in Huntington Beach, Our drive-by in Hollywood, trying our darnedest to spot movie stars and/or their homes, Rodeo Drive (in all it's three block glory), In-N-Out burgers and fries, using the double disgusting men's restroom in Santa Montica (when you gotta go, you gotta), TAPAS and SANGRIA, more Mexican food (Duh), Two words: Santa Barbara, finding a lil' seal that jumped up on a fisherman's boat, and the trendy fro-yo places where you build your own - seriously every state should have them!!!

Love me some Spanish flair!

California Dreamin Part 2: San Diego, Balboa Park, Coronado Island

Highlights: My adorable sun hat, the Spanish flair in Balboa Park, eccentric artwork by local artists, MORE Mexican food, the best chips and queso I've ever had in my entire life, Hotel del Coronado, meeting a beach-attired mutt named Bert, re-visiting the Hornblower dinner cruise ship where Mr. Ruby proposed on March 25, 2005!!!

California Dreams...

"Don't wake me up when I'm dreamin."

Does anyone else remember that awesome 90's show?

Well. Unfortunately, I had to wake up. And now, it is a typical Monday. But I'm not going to think about that.

We had the most wonderful trip in California. And of course we took well over 600 pictures to document the trip. It was so fabulous that I feel I must truly dedicate this entire week to re-capping about Cali. Sorry if this does not interest you, but this is more for me to re-live the awesome-ness that was our vaca.

Oh, and don't think I forgot to talk about my Mrs.-Ruby-rific Mortifying Moment of the vacation. Wouldn't be true vaca without one of those, now would it?

First, I'd like to just take you back to the beginning of the trip...

California Dreamin Part 1: San Diego, La Jolla, Del Mar

Highlights: Our hotel's amazing view of the city, Mr. Ruby meeting up with an old Marine pal, experiencing the best chicken burrito of my life (this coming from a burrito aficionado), Old Town San Diego, the boys jumping into the FREEZING Pacific, visiting our all-time fave restaurant: The Poseidon (in Del Mar), nightlife sillies in the Gaslamp

Never going back to reality...ever.

We're a little more than half way done with our trip.

But, I don't wanna think about that yet.

I simply wanted to say a quick hello and let you all know that we are having the best time EVER. We've completed our Southern portion of the trip and head to San Francisco tomorrow morning. Can't wait.

We've had so many fun memories, beautiful pictures, and of course a mortifying moment to top everything off. Wouldn't be a trip without something happening to me, and only me.

Needless to say, my blogging may be spotty. My comments will be non-existent for a couple of weeks. But I am going to TRY my best to schedule a couple of lil' updates.

I LOVE Cali, and Mr. Ruby and I have been dying to go back for a visit (we lived there 4 years ago). We'll be visiting a few friends AND my Bro-In-Law. Not to mention we're going with another really rad couple who have also been planning a trip to Cali...I.CAN'T.WAIT!

Peace Out Homies. This Vacay is desperately NEEDED!!!
