So apparently weekends can be somewhat educational. The following sums up what I learned this weekend:
1). A two and a half hour wait for dinner can turn into a one-too-many-flirtini-oops-I'm-tipsy Friday night.
2). Cream-based liqueur + hot apple cider = curdled milk
3). It is actually possible for your brain to hurt. This is not a lie, as I discovered after a six and a half hour study sess at the coffee shop with Mr. Ruby.
4). It is absolutely a very strong possibility that I love animals...just as much as I love people. Is that so wrong?
***(In fact, I often worry I will not love our children as much as our pups. Ok, I'm exaggerating. But I really love our dogs.)
5). I will not have to spend the holidays horribly depressed because we're not going home. My parents bought plane tickets to visit us for a New England Christmas. So excited!
6). I actually (gasp) like Indian food. Tried it for the first time today...and it was quite delish. I'm surprised because the smell of curry makes me a bit nauseous. But I loved everything I tried!
7). Could it be? I made it until 10:39 p.m. until Sunday Night Blues hit. I think this might be an all time record.
Hope you all have a fab week!

I had curry for the first time...it was actually good! I was shocked!
I feel the same way with our dog Foxy. I also worry that she will feel neglected when we do have kids and I would never want that.
I feel the same way about my dog. Everyone keeps telling me that once I have kids she won't be as important anymore and I'm like there's no way that's going to happen!!!
I've never had curry...maybe I'll give it a try.
I believe so much in numbers 1 and 3, so true!
I worry the same thing!! I love our puppies to pieces and can't get enough of them!! I'm not the biggest fan of kids...
