Today, I rushed into the office to get a few things done before heading out the door at 9:00 a.m. for interviews.
Didn't have time to go to the bathroom because I was running super late.
Did have time to fill my coffee mug because I was exhausted. (I had to prioritize, and staying awake was more important than relieving my bladder. At the time seemed like a good idea...)
Picked up a company car, rushed out the door, drove about an hour away to a day filled with interviews.
Fifteen minutes into the drive...I had to pee.
BAD.
Couldn't pull over. No time. I was already running so late and I was following my boss because I had no idea where I was going.
I kept looking at the clock.
I kept telling myself, "30 more minutes. 15 more minutes. Shoot, I was wrong. 20 more minutes".
I began praying.
At one point, I even held my crotch.
We finally pulled up to a building. I get out of the car and blurt out to my boss, "I don't think this is the right building, but I don't care. I HAVE to go to the bathroom."
He said, "No, we have to find the right building first. We're running late."
I ignored him and ran into the building.
I could not find the women's restroom anywhere.
I literally could not hold it another minute.
So, I went into the men's.
This has been the story of my life this week...
You poor thing! I would have done the same thing. When you gotta go, you gotta go!

ReplyDeleteHAHAHAAHAHA ... sorry to laugh at your disastrous morning but I love that you admitted holding your gina when you had to pee... that is terrible! And I always get a wicked stomach ache if I hold mine too long.
